Going out
Dining out is a great social activity, and it's always fun to try new and different restaurants to
experience as much out there as possible. Although I love a lot of cuisines, my favorites include Chinese, Japanese, and
Italian. It definitely goes beyond that though. Steak and sushi are also favorites, and quality definitely matters when
it comes to eating those two. Noodle soups are great too. As for the restaurants itself, I span the range of fine dining
to hole-in-the-walls. You can find good eats in both and enjoy the different experience.
Cooking
I first became interested in this when I was out on my own during an internship and had a craving for
home cooking. Thus, I learned some of my favorite Chinese dishes from my mom. I haven't branched out too much beyond the
Chinese cooking yet but hopefully will find the time and energy to explore more. The aspect I enjoy the most is the
creation and am not a big fan of the preparation or clean up, but I guess you got to take the good with the bad.
