Where I Have Lived: San Francisco
After DC, I moved out to the San Francisco Bay Area and have lived in Foster City, South Beach neighborhood of San Francisco, and San Mateo. The weather out here is great, especially coming from the East Coast, and there is an excellent mix of outdoor and city life. The scenery and hiking is amazing. One of my grievences though is that it is a bit too tech-centric which comes with a certain baggage. Still I have made some great friends and reconnected with old ones.
I attended a church called Sunset Church up in San Francisco.
Overall I think SF is one of the best places I've been. Some restaurants in the Bay Area I enjoy include Santa Ramen in San Mateo, Sushi Sams in San Mateo, Japantown has some good restaurants in SF, and much more. By the time I had to move though, I was definitely ready to see a new place.
