Where I Have Lived: Boston

Boston was my first home after college, and it definitely took a little while for it to truly feel like home. This is definitely a college town which was great when I first got there, but shorty, I wanted to find other young professionals which took a little bit of time. As a young graduate, I wanted to go out a lot, but Boston is a small town so there aren't too many places to go that I enjoy a lot (where's the hip hop?!?!?), and everything closed by 2 AM. By the time I left though, I really appreciated what Boston had to offer as well as the friends I made there. It is quite a charming and romantic city since it's easily walkable and being on the Charles River is quite nice.

I attended the church Cambridge Community Fellowship Church (CCFC) for a little while before ending up at Boston Chinese Evangelical Church (BCEC) where I helped serve the young adult group.

Aside from the people, I miss a handful of the restaurants and bars in Boston including Bartley's Burger Cottage (for the best burger), East Ocean City in Chinatown, Fugakyu (for sushi), Pho Pasteur (nothing too special, but I frequented it a lot), and Pravda (bar with decent decor).
