Family: Parents
Mom and dad...My parents were the ones who really taught me what it means to love and be loved. It is because of them that it has really helped me understand and feel God's love as well although they are not Christian. I hope and pray that one day they will be.
It's as I got older did I begin to realize more and more what a blessing it is to have them as parents. Of course no one is perfect, although it's very interesting that it took me a long, long time before I even realized that my parents have some flaws too. I really appreciate the love, care, and support they've given throughout my life.
Dad
My dad was born in Canton, China and has had schooling both in Taiwan as well as in the US. He's done quite a few jobs as a Mechanical Engineer and has since retired. He is definitely quite the handyman in the house and very talented.
Mom
My mom was born in Hong Kong and has had schooling both in Hong Kong as well as in the US. She was a homemaker for a long time as we were growing up. I'm really thankful that my dad could support us all and allow my mom to raise us in such a loving environment. She eventually went to work at a clerical job as we grew older. The home cooking is the best!
